Jennifer Tran is a passionate freelance photographer attending the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill. She is a Vietnamese American from Charlotte, North Carolina. As a visual storyteller, her goal is to capture the nuanced narratives that shape our world and to amplifying underrepresented voices. Jennifer is currently a senior staff photographer for The Daily Tar Heel and a sports marketing assistant for Campus Recreation.

Jennifer’s work has been published in the WRAL, The Charlotte Post, The Local Reporter, and The Daily Tar Heel. She has also won awards from the College Photographer of the Year and Horizons Interactive Awards.
